"It is difficult to make predictions, especially about the future", and especially about exponential growth!

If "Hollywood" includes the streaming services, then it's not so certain that the ratio between "film" and "game" revenue will continue to change at the dramatic pace it has in the last two decades.

There is a natural human market which won't go away for passive entertainment that you can just sit back and watch. Video games satisfy a different need and now anyone can get that itch scratched in any way they like.

I see the video game market as having become mature in the last decade and growth flattening to parallel movies and music. There are billions to be made still of course.
