It is funny and strange that I have been involved with computers for many decades, and yet this is the first time I have recognized this new form of error: that a perfectly real fact might be dismissed simply because a computer was involved.

It is not a tribute to my field that people think that way, though I don't think that this pilot was performing to the best of his ability either.
