It just astonishes me how unrealistic people are about space travel.

Not one human has been more than a few hundred kilometers from Earth in almost fifty years. If we had to send a human to the Moon today for some emergency, we simply couldn't do it.

Not one human has ever travelled to Mars.

And you somehow think that setting up colonies on the Moon and Mars is as difficult as building a subway!
