It takes a special sort of attention to focus on the 4,431 US military who were killed in the Iraq War and ignore the hundreds of thousands of non-Americans also killed in that war, the vast majority of whom were innocent bystanders, many being women and children.

The US military is volunteer-only. All of these 4,431 soldiers volunteered to go to another country to kill strangers who never offered them or any other American any harm before their country was invaded based on obvious and pathetic lies. The deaths of a tiny percentage of the invading forces were the logical consequences of their own morally despicable choices, exactly like a terrorist who gets killed by the police in the middle of committing a crime.

You should focus instead on the hundreds of thousands of completely innocent people who were murdered by this war based on lies, and not the few criminals who fucked around and found out.
