It took me a while to understand that you’re completely on-board with the money laundering aspect of cryptocurrencies. This attitude is morally vacuous.
Literally trillions of dollars are sucked out of the world’s economies every year by money laundering, much of which is cryptocurrencies these days, and nearly all of that by criminal gangs, or the very rich (the 0.1%). In this manner, actual violent criminals, as well as tax evaders, manage to avoid tens if not hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes every year.
Because your average guy has no way to do this and not enough capital to make it worthwhile if they could, it’s again a tiny number of rich criminals looting our society at the expense of everyone else.
