It was a long time ago that I read Jaynes, but surely his point was that people were extremely malleable, and were able to break their bicamerality down simply by learning from the example of others?

Surely the act of learning a modern language would itself break down bicamerality? - if, I hasten to add, this existed, it's not proven, and quite possibly is just a fun story.
