It was a very cool time. They were just starting to teach new math to kids, and my father got a lot of books on that for me. I saw the moon landing. I had just found out about the existence of computers and programming, I must have been six. Carnaby Street was a riot of color and cheerful faces.

Anything seemed possible.

Fast forward 55 years, now we seem trapped on a path to a very dark place. Sort of a come down for humanity, but it was quite possibly inevitable.
