It's a tribute to how awful things are that I read your first two sentences and thought you meant this was a good thing. But then I clued in.

However, Melania's outfit reminded me much more of Fidel Castro! But why she would do that, I have no idea.

This is just too ridiculous. I'm losing my suspension of disbelief here. I keep expecting it to be revealed as some grand hoax, hear tape rewinding noises and wake up back in 2016 (and this time choose a winning candidate FFS Democrats!)

Unfortunately, as Zinn points out at the start of A People's History of the United States, historic times and golden ages are nearly always awful for nearly everyone except a few rich people.
