It's amazing how well the US government rewards its soldiers who choose to go out and kill people, innocent people who never offered them or any other American any harm before a GI showed up on their doorstep and killed them.
American soldiers have killed about two million innocent people in my lifetime, in a series of wars and undeclared police actions, based mostly on lies, and nearly all of which America lost, completely and abjectly.
What did any Vietnamese or Iraqi (or a resident of any of the three or four dozen countries where the US military has "operated" in during my lifetime) ever do to deserve being killed by an American invader?
This is a gala of murderers and war criminals and yet you keep saying how "nice" and "incredible" and "rock star" it is.
For someone who believes that the unprovoked killing of foreigners is murder - in other words, someone who believes in international law, the same international law that the US more or entirely wrote after World War 2 and now routinely flouts - this gathering is a travesty, criminals celebrating their crimes.
