Oh, and unfortunately these aren't the last days of the Anthropocene. The last days of human technological civilization, sure, but as conditions for humans deteriorate, we'll probably double down on our desecration of the planet, and it will take millions of years to recover, and all of those years will be the "Anthropocene" - the period when the actions of humans were the prime cause of all environmental changes.
Man, what a grim world it is that I seriously wonder whether nuclear winter or "Twelve Monkeys" would be a better scenario than what we are actually likely to get into.
