I’ve done a lot of that too, but that argument gets less and less convincing as I see poorly-run companies whose main product is bullshit reap in the bucks.

I left a cryptocurrency company because their entire development process was bogus from start to finish, and they’re still raking in the cash years later — because chutzpah seems more important than actual solid development work, at least in that field.
