Let me first start by saying that the evidence that Biden won the election was completely overwhelming. I'm writing this from a leftist perspective.
But "no evidence" of voting machine issues in general doesn't mean it isn't happening. Indeed, the machines' software is proprietary and not auditable, so how would we even find evidence? The voting data is stored unencrypted on standard memory cards for the most part.
I now live in the Netherlands. The place is very high-tech in general, but elections here are done with pencil and paper. Not so long ago they did a study that concluded that pencil and paper was cheap and reliable and that on the other hand it was unclear that it was even possible to validate that machines did what they said.
If America is to continue to use voting machines, their software must be open source so that it can be audited by experts in the field.
