Let me get this straight.

Some deliberately drives right through a group of people with a car, causing injuries. Legally, this is assault and attempted murder.

But you think dragging them out of their cars and beating them is an unreasonable response? Can you explain why? What would you do if someone tried to run your family over?

Or are you claiming that people who have done nothing are being dragged out of cars and beaten? Let’s see documentary evidence of this, please.
