Musk's "choice" is to allow industrial capitalism to destroy the planet, and then flee, while the rest of us die. He has talked about this endlessly.

This "vision" is in fact death for the planet, and nearly all humans. And it's madness, because Mars is a dark, cold, aris, lifeless, airless, poisonous desert.

As for "jokes", insulting whole categories of people isn't actually a "joke". People who tell you "jokes" whose punchline is more or less "Jews are stingy" or "Blacks are lazy and dishonest" or "Transexual people are crazy" simply find cruelty entertaining.
