My theory was that while I would probably be killed by the local church, I'd be writing a lot of arithmetic in the dirt with sticks and hoping to find the local natural philosopher with some money who might keep me as a curiosity, and so I can feed them Newton's Laws, calculus, logic, probability and statistics, and what I remember of chemistry and biology.
Without dentistry and asthma inhalers, let alone craft beer and cannabis, it sounds like a grim world, but I didn't volunteer for this, clearly.
To heck with changing the future, what did the future ever do for me except send me back in time to die? Anyway, how could the future be much worse than it is today?
