My wife and I hated it, and not just for the bad science, but the ridiculous portrayal of how humans work.
Every single idea was idiotic. Like, you can only send ONE BIT of information about a planet? Yes/no? That's really useful NOT! And if you send a no, you die horribly? That will really encourage people to be honest NOT.
Overall, the idea that the people they'd choose for the last attempt to save the Earth would be neurotic hysterical incompetent fools is completely unconvincing. Has no one there ever read The Right Stuff?
For me to find a movie enjoying, I have to care about the characters. I felt none of them had the slightest internal life at all.
