No, most of the fossil fuels need to stay in the ground in order to avoid complete catastrophe for our climate. One of the many things we would need to do to avoid devastating our ecosystem would be to give up routine air travel.

However, I’ve read your other article here, and it’s clear that these problems don’t register with you at all. Somehow you think we can maintain exponentially growing consumption and exponentially increasing waste forever.

Don't worry, though. We won't do anything to fix the problems, and you can be happy flying and driving everywhere, and consuming to your heart's content, though I imagine your grandchildren will curse your name.
