None of the stats in the book are false - they are simply random factoids that don't address the question, "How can we deliver ever increasing amounts of CO2 and other wastes into the atmosphere without disaster?"
You and I are on exactly the same page with global warming. Renewables cannot possibly take up the slack, and nuclear power has a very good safety record despite being operated by a bunch of idiots much of the time.
We should be increasing our fission power generation, and investing as much money as we can in fusion, which is really our best hope.
Not sure why you are then quoting Lomborg, who is perhaps the most famous climate emergency denier of our time...
