Oh, the Whole Earth Review!

I have many old issues lying around, I remember it fondly, it was far more humanist and optimistic than almost anything today, and yet it was based on false premises - that technology would lead to infinite resources and a post-scarcity society.

I don't think we were ever going to escape this storm. 99% of humans won't believe that we could break the ecosystem until we do.
