OP communicated their doubts to a teacher and was thrown out - wasn't given a chance to discuss it, or even asked what they really meant.

And you aren't questioning this - you simply think this behavior is fine! You think a code of conduct that says, "If you doubt or question any of this, you will immediately be thrown out of school and lose your scholarship without any recourse or due process or any chance to defend yourself," is perfectly reasonable. Compassionate people of course consider this cruelty.

One of the things that continues to horrify me about Christians is their constant desire to hurt others who question their beliefs to the slightest degree.

If you could stand outside yourself for one second, you'd realize that the only reason to do that is because they have zero confidence in the truth of their claims. If they really believed in their religious claims, they'd be confident that the truth would win out.

The reason they immediately terminated the writer is because they feared any sort of discussion of these subjects, because they knew that if they were allowed to discuss these things openly, they'd lose a majority of their students.

The proud and gloating cruelty of Christians for the last thousands years and more is why most of us consider it a great force for evil in the world today.
