Part of the reason I left NYC after thirty years is I think things are going to hit the fan, and big American cities are going to be a bad place to live.

The Netherlands has plenty of water, is a net food exporter, but more, has effective and honest government. I hope it will outlive me: "lucky" for me I'm no longer young.
