Pff. you aren't too late, plenty of people much older than you do these things, I moved continents when I was older than you are today.

You don't want to do it because it's a bad idea for almost everyone! It's extremely dangerous even for people who have sailed almost every day for their entire lives. It's uncomfortable, and for most people, after a day or two it would be tremendously boring too.

Yes, I hate the physical degradation and impending death thing too - a lot. But doing quixotic and expensive things isn't the solution. Find something actually worth doing that might change the world, or at least your world.
