Quibble: an electric leaf blower would produce far, far less pollution.

The reason that leaf blowers are so polluting (though your "300 cars" number is quite an exaggeration, you should check it) is not because they guzzle through gallons of fossil fuels but because they are so inefficient at burning gasoline that they emit a huge amount of soot, CO and other crap.
