Sad, and sadly unsurprising.

Probably those rural Swiss people don't even think of themselves as racists. They don't believe they offer you any ill-will. But they drove you out anyway. Who would want to live where you are always made to be an alien?

As a white guy with an English accent, there's never been one instant of doubt in my mind about how racism works. I can and have yelled at an American cop; if a person of color did that, they'd be taking their life in their hands.

White people looking a lot like me run the planet. And we are killing our own biosphere. I'm sick of us.
