So far none of the allegations against Allen have been substantiated, and there are serious circumstantial arguments against their being true.

(I note also that Mia Farrow is a staunch defender of Roman Polanski, who was convicted, of, well, acts to horrible to write about involving a very young child.)

Manhattan Murder Mystery, yes, very much so - also, Irrational Man and To Rome With Love which was so light and sweet that it made us happy during the plague.

And Blue Jasmine was very grim, but actually showed regular, sorta dumb people having real lives and romances. Really one of the stranger things I've seen in films.

It's the depressing ones like Wonder Wheel that are really hard to finish.
