You deserve claps for correctly using "begging the question" if nothing else.
However, the concept of God clearly does not transcend our comprehension. We do understand our own conceptions!
If God really existed, then He (male gender for Gods, how silly!) might be beyond comprehension, but not our conception of God. And given the non-existence of god, there is nothing transcendent there.
I can't find it and I have to start my workday, but there was an interesting peer-reviewed paper from the last five years that analyzed regular people's conception of God from a bunch of different beliefs.
The interesting part was that all the people in question were quite good at spouting the actual scripture, but when they were asked to actually explain God in their own words, all of them gave similar descriptions that were quite close to comic book superheros.
