Thanks for the kind words, but don't worry, I just keep rewriting this stuff.

The same idea will reappear again. Perhaps I should write my memoirs. "Where's my Johnson? A wannabe Boswell tells all."

I actually am working on - yes - a fairly clear and simple theory of "what went wrong" in general. I am skeptical of widely explanatory theories but my skeptical friends have been surprisingly open to it.
