My father, who died before the events of this story, spoke Serbo-Croat (and many other Slavic languages, it was his passion) and he would have been so sad and angry to hear what had happened.

I myself was privileged to visit many of the countries that used to be Yugoslavia about a decade ago and have never forgotten the natural beauty and the warm of the people there.
