I had a somewhat important document "disappear" from Drive. I couldn't find it at all in Drive, and I'm a "technically sophisticated user" as they say, but I went back through my browser history, found the URL for the document, and it was still magically there.

Of course, I was running in a browser in the first place, on my desktop, and not in some app that I have no visibility into...
