The American fetishization of guns never ceases to astonish and sometimes amuse.

How exactly would you save a life inside a spacecraft or the ISS with a personal gun?

If you happened to EVA and your jets jammed, surely you'd rather a spare propulsion unit that you could direct in tiny bursts rather than a gun which would probably send you careening end-over-end the first time you fired it - and which you couldn't fire in the direction of your spaceship for fear of holing it?

This attitude is simple enough to analyze.

A lot of Americans are just bedwetting cowards who live in terror of everyone around them and can't relax unless they always have some way to kill anyone who comes near them.

This is why bullies like Trump are so popular amongst Americans - because every coward is a bully if they get the opportunity.

Learn not to live in fear.
