The idea that regular white people cannot criticize powerful Black people is just as false as the reverse idea.

It is patronizing and paternalistic to say, "You cannot criticize the VP of the US because she is a Black woman."

I had great hopes for Harris. All those hopes have been dissipated through her own inaction. She's a liability to the Democratic party, and people need to say this in no uncertain terms.
