The man is a serial liar, starting with his lies about the Canadian trans law.

He claims to believe that the world's governments, scientists and institutions have been conspiring for the last century to produce an entirely false but meticulously well-documented picture of climatology - a science that Peterson has no knowledge of at all.

He doesn't explain what his model is, nor how he can get over the basic physical fact that we have known for almost two hundred years - carbon dioxide in the atmosphere captures a huge amount of heat.

Nor does he explain how China and Taiwan, North and South Korea, India and Pakistan, China, the US and Russia and other famous enemies managed to cooperate over generations to generate this incredibly consistent and detailed lie.

If he really believed what he said, he'd be a clinical paranoid, a danger to himself and others. But I think he says whatever he thinks will be most controversial and the truth or falsehood of what he says is simply irrelevant to him.
