The Netherlands hasn't been as idiotic as America, but people here refuse to wear masks, and even create fake masks so they can get on public transport where masks are required.

We're in the middle of a second wave here, yet last weekend, the beaches were packed beyond capacity. The government put up LED signs saying "FULL! TURN BACK!" which everyone ignored, and that was it.

It baffles me. To be honest, the uniformly mediocre response to COVID-19 here has reduced my respect for the Dutch considerably.
