The threat facing America today is not lack of a soapbox for everyone's viewpoint, and I mean everyone's. Damn, do we get to hear absolutely everyone's viewpoint, no matter how ill-informed, poorly-thought-ouyt or malicious. Lack of dissenting voices is not the problem anywhere in the West!

America's problem that about 30% of Americans are completely deranged and have a collection of provably false views including "climate change is a hoax by a conspiracy of all the world's scientists" and "Obama is a Muslim married to a transexual man".

And through some terrible mischance of history, the President is one of those hundred million mentally ill Americans who literally cannot tell reality from fiction and additional has other serious psychological issues like being a pathological liar and narcissist.

Watching the news these days with the crazy angry incoherent man blathering lies and insanity is like watching some SF farce from my childhood.
