The whole picture of the judge embracing the murderer, oh, sorry, “accused”! It made me feel sick.

You can be sure that if the accursed, oh, sorry, “accused” were a little more… dusky in color then it would be a different image.

As for Brandt Jean’s actions — I am not in a position to judge. We know that holding on to even legitimate resentments is really bad for people’s mental and physical health. It was probably objectively the right thing — but I would take quite a different approach myself.
