There is a third possibility - that neither OpenAI nor Google will win, because LLMs won't ever develop enough accuracy to be useful.

What is getting sold to me is that accuracy will magically arise if you build a large enough LLM, but there is neither a theory as to why that would happen nor a roadmap as to how to get there.
