There were war crimes trials for the Nazis. A dozen of them were executed. Hundreds of them spent the rest of their lives in jail. Nazism was outlawed in Germany.

Imagine if instead the Nazis had been forgiven; that the Nazi party continued as a respected political party; Hitler was forgiven and allowed to live his life out in wealth and peace.

That is what you are proposing.

If you allow criminals to commit mass murder with impunity, they will do it again and again and again.

Bush told a series of deliberate lies to start a war that killed hundreds of thousands of innocent people, and more Americans than 9/11. There were no consequences. Trump was the logical result of that.

Americans give the impression of being morally bankrupt, because they have this crazy idea that no crime their leaders commit, no matter how many hundreds of thousands of people die from it, should ever have any punishment or negative consequences at all.

You should develop some sort of moral backbone, because the next guy will be worse than Trump.
