There’s nothing “beautiful” about this article — indeed, it’s one of the more horrible things I’ve ever read.

The writer is proposing giving up and allowing our lovely planet to be destroyed, our children’s and grandchildren’s future to be destroyed, an incredibly number of species of creatures to be destroyed — and for us to do nothing, nothing at all to prevent it.

We went right from “There is no problem, so let’s do nothing,” to “The problem is overwhelming, so let’s do nothing.”

It’s absolutely wrong. We need to try to fix the problem! We need to try to save at least some of our ecosystem, keep at least part of humanity going!

You have children, for God’s sake! Are you seriously going to tell them, “I am giving up on your future, because the planet is doomed — learn to accept it and do nothing!”?
