These two paragraphs contradict each other!

In the first one, you say that some pain can be felt within 0.01 seconds, or 10ms; in the second one you say that the collapse took place in 50ms, but then claim that this is faster than the body can feel pain.

it is academic. Even if the inhabitants experienced 40 ms of pain, I'm sure it didn't register with them. But as a mathematician, I had to comment.
