This statement is completely false. The United States is twenty-sixth on tests per million people (source), beaten by countries like the UK, Bermuda, Russia and Israel.

In terms of total tests (which is basically meaningless), the United States is still a distant second to China, which has delivered almost three times as many tests.

If you make some grandiose statement like this, at least spend a few seconds to see if it’s even close to being true.
