This whole thing where you indemnify your leaders from any failure before they even fail is just so American.

Look at the Iraq War. Hundreds of thousands of innocent people murdered, more Americans dead than in 9/11 - and yet not one person was to blame.

Somehow American leaders can murder hundreds of thousands of people who were literally just minding their business before the US invaded, and not one American bears the slightest responsibility for this.

But if I were black and sold cigarettes on the street, I could be shot down to die like a dog in the gutter and everyone would say, "He deserved it."

If you didn't work it out already, the "accountability for the powerless but no accountability for the rich and powerful" is why America is collapsing.
