To clarify (for other readers), simply standing around with a sign waiting to be arrested and have your life damaged or ruined (because protect is criminalized) is no longer effective.
For example, the famous Australian psychopath Tony Abbott recently claimed that people protesting against the destruction of our world are mentally ill. There were no consequences.
If there were immediate and terrible consequences for such sociopathic spoutings, ones that set an example for other psychopaths, we would see change in the world.
