Twenty years ago, I would have laughed at you. I’m still not entirely sure about the “inevitably” part but to deny the association is to deny the evidence of one’s senses.

(Oh, I was against unregulated capitalism twenty years ago too, for many reasons, all proven right over the years — I just thought Fascism was gone for good in the West. Hah!)
