We fled America in late 2016 and have deliberately seen as little media as we could of the various awful political figures. I even have an extension on my browser that suppresses most images of Trump, and it made me a little happier every day for years.

So we hadn't seen Biden talk until we saw Charlie Brooker's very entertaining "Death to 2021", and both my wife and I were "What?!"

Biden was a very weak speaker in the elections, and he's clearly deteriorated since. It's really really hard to convince myself there's some brilliant and incisive mind behind the halting speech, though at least it's a cut above the obviously maniacal Trump word salad.
