We moved from NYC to the Netherlands in December 2016 and never looked back.

Unfortunately, Europe has different sign languages than in the US. I imagine it's almost as hard to learn a foreign sign language as a spoken language, though you do have the two considerable advantages of not having to learn grammar or having to spell.

If you end up around the Netherlands, look me up (I'm very searchable) and we'll take you out for a meal at the very very least.
