We’ll eventually get a good number for the COVID-19 death toll in the UK and the US, though that will probably be statistical and a lot later. It’s very hard to die in a developed country and not leave a “paper” trail a mile long.

Eventually someone will compare the 2020 death rates to 2019 and very reasonably conclude that the difference is due to COVID.

My guess right now is that the final number will be 50% greater than the official number. But a lot of that depends on how crazy things get.

The whole thing makes me feel sick and sad, but we knew Western Civilization had to come down anyway.
