But I agree with every word of it. I always loved Carlin, and in recent years I've re-evaluated him from being a cynical, funny guy to being a guy who saw the train wreck coming and desperately tried to warn us in the most shocking and yet entertaining way.

It makes me sad that today's transgressive comics obsess on beating up on trans people and the disabled - two powerless groups with life-threatening problems of their own - but when it comes to the real problems of our day, the climate catastrophe, COVID, the looting of society by the 1%, and psychopathic leaders, they are quiet, as cowards always are in the face of evil.
