What exactly do you think antifa is? They're anti-fascists, of all political stripes, nothing else.
There's no "antifa" meetings, or headquarters or anything.
When I lived in America, I used to go to demonstrations - peaceful demonstrations.
To be honest, I thought they were a waste of time. A protest with a permit without demands that doesn't demand anything and doesn't commit civil disobedience is a parade. All these charming young people with puppets were wasting their time.
But still, regularly they would be broken up violently by Fascists, wearing Fascist symbols and using violence. And the police would smirk.
(It's funny that living in America, as a white affluent guy with a British accent who was never hassled by the police, convinced me that the US police are a criminal gang. I've seen them beat Black people into unconsciousness, simply for talking back politely. I've seen them accept a wad of cash. I lived next to a cocaine club for years, open every night from midnight to 9AM, but whenever anyone in the neighborhood complained, they would swear they had closed them years ago, even though they showed up there at least twice a week to break up fights. I hear a taste for boot leather, once acquired, is impossible to break.)
But soon, people from our own ranks emerged protect us. They were Democrats, and liberals, and socialists, and anarchists, and yes, some communists.
I fully supported them, and still do, because I personally wanted to be able to demonstrate and not get beaten up.
Antifa means no more and no less than anti-fascism. They are not in any way an organized group, any more than people without hair or people who don't drive motorcycles.
If you are anti-anti-fascism, you are a Fascist. It's really as simple as that.
You call me when antifa invades the Capitol, commits millions of dollars of damage and wipes their excrement all over the walls.
Also, I can list pages of people killed by right-wing American extremists. Can you name one person killed by antifa? Even one?
