While I admire that sentiment, my last 40 years experience with the DNC has not made me hopeful that they will do better.

The President I had hopes for was Obama and boy, was I a fool. The drone bombings started within a week. No one went to jail for the global financial crisis. No one went to jail for the Rape of Iraq ("We need to move forward, not back!" said Obama.)

Obama loved fossil fuels - by the end of his term, the US was the largest exporter of oil in the world.
