While I strongly support Ukraine in this war, I don't find this story particularly believable, particularly since the key piece of "evidence" we are given is a random tape featuring anonymous individuals.

I am 60 years old. I have been systematically lied to by the powers-that-be in every single war in my lifetime, and why is that unexpected or even unreasonable? Propaganda has been a standard part of warfare for centuries. If I were Zelenkskiy, I'd be propagandizing with the best, and no regrets.

However, unquestioningly reprinting propaganda erodes trust others have in you. Consider taking a more skeptical stance in future.
